Cotecno is looking for International Socio-Economic Experts to be included in the CVs’ roster and then be chosen for new/potential opportunities in the framework of Sustainable Tourism, Cultural Heritage Protection and Urban Development projects.


Desirable Experience:

  • At least 10/15 years of professional experience within the range of socio-economic issues worldwide.
  • Participation in Sustainable Tourism, Cultural Heritage Protection and Urban Development projects with an appropriate level of responsibility.
  • Experience in conducting surveys, analyses and impact assessments (socio-economic, health, equality, etc.) concerning social phenomena such as community, social institutions, ethnic minorities, cultural and social organizations, rural/urban communities, interrelations between physical environment and spatial distribution of people, etc.
  • Experience in researches on origin, growth, structure, trends and demographic characteristics of urban and non-urban environments.
  • Socio-economic researches and consultancies' inputs to policy research projects and strategic/master planning studies.
  • Possible experience as consultant to lawmakers and administrators dealing with socio-economic issues.
  • Inputs provided in stakeholders’ analysis, local consultations and participatory activities, human resources development social-related issues, etc.

 

Qualifications:
  • Graduated with, eventually, a Master Degree of Social Science, Social Development or related field.
  • English and French excellent skills, both speaking and writing. Other languages are welcomed (especially Spanish and Arabic).
  • Excellent reporting skills.
  • Competent with MS Office applications.
  • High level of flexibility as well as deep understanding of cultural diversities and adaptability to different local contexts.
